I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey and received my Masters of Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work in 2006. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.

I started my career as a Sexuality Educator for Planned Parenthood gaining extensive experience in the field of reproductive health and sexuality education. For nearly 20 years, I taught adolescents, teens, and college students comprehensive sexuality education. In addition to being a leading speaker and trainer on sexuality education, I held educational and clinical roles at mental health clinics and drug prevention agencies. Most recently, I was a school social worker,  providing individual and group counseling to children, adolescents, and their families. From each of these experiences, I have cultivated my passion and expertise to provide a strengths-based approach in collaboration with my clients. My areas of expertise include: sexual and intimacy challenges, stress, anxiety, depression, body image, low self-esteem, parenting concerns, pregnancy loss and infertility counseling, relationship issues, and personal growth.

I utilize a multi-dimensional approach to therapy, exploring each individual’s biological, psychological, social, and spiritual self. By implementing this approach, I can evaluate each individual or couple to provide solution focused and insight oriented therapy. I work with individuals age 14 and up as well as couples and families.

We all have our stuff.
