where we are all a work in progress…
Christina Garcia, LSW

Emerging Adults:
You’ve technically entered adulthood, but it doesn’t really feel like you’ve got it figured out, does it? Maybe you’re juggling work or school, relationships, and trying to figure out who you want to be. You might compare yourself to others and wonder if you’re falling behind, or feel torn between where you thought you’d be and where you actually are. It’s okay to not have all the answers. This stage of life can feel messy, confusing, and even isolating.
Together, we’ll explore your goals, your sense of identity, and the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked. My goal is to help you navigate this transition with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion- so you can feel grounded as you build the life you want.

Teens:
Do you ever feel like there’s so much pressure to have it all together? School, friends, family- it’s a lot. Maybe you feel like no one really gets what you’re going through, or you’re tired of pretending you’re okay when you’re not. Between grades, social media, and figuring out who you are, it can start to feel overwhelming. You might notice anxiety, self-doubt, or the weight of trying to make everyone happy while losing sight of yourself. You deserve a space where you can breathe, let your guard down, and be honest about what’s really going on.
In therapy, we’ll talk about the things you don’t always feel comfortable sharing anywhere else, and help you find ways to manage the stress, build confidence, and feel more like you again.

Adults:
Maybe you’ve been carrying the weight of responsibilities for so long that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to slow down. Between work, relationships, family, and everything else on your plate, life can start to feel like one long to-do list. You might find yourself wondering if this is really how it’s supposed to feel- stressed, exhausted, and disconnected from yourself. You’re not alone.
In therapy, we’ll create a space where you can pause, reflect, and reconnect with the parts of you that have been running on autopilot. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship challenges, burnout, or the pressure to keep it all together, we’ll work together to help you feel more balanced and at peace within yourself.

I offer a warm and supportive space where you can come just as you are. Every person is different, and I believe therapy should be tailored to fit your unique needs. Together, we’ll talk through what’s been weighing on you, whether that’s anxiety, self-confidence, relationships, or life transitions. My style is compassionate and collaborative. I use approaches like IFS and psychodynamic therapy to explore things more deeply, while also bringing in practical tools from CBT and DBT that can help you feel more grounded day to day. Most of all, my hope is that therapy feels like a place where you can finally breathe and be a safe space to feel understood, reconnect with yourself, and begin moving forward with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
