Teens:

Getting older isn’t always as easy as you imagined.  One minute you’re trying to keep up with schoolwork, the next you’re worrying about what people think about you, both online and in real life. Add in the pressure to make your parents proud, figure out your future, and keep friendships steady, and it can start to feel like there’s no space left for you.

Therapy with me can be a space that is just for you. Together, we can work toward making home, school, and life feel more manageable and less isolating.

Emerging Adults:

As you enter into adulthood, there’s a lot of pressure to have everything figured out…to know your path, your purpose, your career, but you find yourself still trying to figure it out and compare yourself to others who seem to have it together. Maybe you envisioned your life a certain way, but your reality looks much different. Maybe your friends are thriving in their career while you still don’t know what you want to do just yet. Maybe going out on the weekends feels less exciting as you're trying to find relationships that feel authentic to you.

Therapy with me can be a safe space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. Starting therapy can be the first steps toward feeling less alone and work toward learning how to "adult". Together, we can quiet the noise of comparison, strengthen your sense of self, and build confidence to create a life that feels meaningful to you.

Caregivers:

Caring for someone you love leaves you feeling heavy. Whether you’re a parent of a child with unique needs or caring for an aging parent, you may feel isolated, burned out, and overwhelmed. Maybe you feel unprepared for this role you’ve been given, and question whether or not you’re doing a good job. Maybe your life has become unrecognizable from before you took on this role, and you’re wondering where you lost yourself along the way. The emotional and physical demands of caregiving leave you feeling guilty for wanting rest.

You don’t have to carry this all alone. In therapy together, I can provide you with a safe space where you can relax your shoulders and both hear and see YOUR experience.  We can help you begin to put yourself first, while managing the guilt that may surface with this act of self-care. Together, we can work toward easing the weight you’ve been carrying and helping you feel more grounded in your role as a caregiver.

Couples: (**Please note, unfortunately, couples therapy is generally not reimbursable by insurance and is charged a full fee, private rate of $150 per 60 minute session.)

Many couples seek counseling not because they’re failing, but because life has become overwhelming. Work stress, financial pressure, parenting demands, family expectations, changing roles, mental health challenges, and unresolved past experiences can quietly complicate even the strongest partnerships. When you’re tired, stretched thin, and operating on autopilot, your relationship often comes last. Couples counseling helps partners strengthen communication, rebuild emotional closeness, and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges together, rather than apart.

Couples counseling provides a supportive space to be honest, feel heard, and better understand one another. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way of connection and work toward creating a relationship that feels more secure, balanced, and intentional.

Approach to Counseling:

As a therapist, I believe that your journey towards healing is as unique as you are. In my work, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you can feel truly seen and heard. No matter your background, situation, or circumstances, none of us are immune to life’s challenges. At times, we may find ourselves feeling unprepared to face them or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we will uncover the tools and techniques that can help you navigate life with greater confidence and ease. Whether you’re managing anxiety, healing from trauma, or navigating a major life transition, I take a collaborative approach to help you move toward the life you envision. Reaching out for help can feel vulnerable, but it’s also a courageous step toward transformation. My goal is to help you feel empowered and supported every step of the way. My approach to counseling is grounded in mindfulness and uses a person-centered, holistic lens to ensure each client’s unique story is heard, valued, and gently guided toward growth and healing.

About Me:

Outside of my work, I love to practice photography, spend time with my family, travel to new places, and find new crafts or baking recipes to try. I come from a big family with many nieces and nephews and proudly embrace my role as the “fun aunt.” Traveling, both domestically and internationally, brings me so much joy, especially when it involves trying new foods and experiencing different cultures. My favorite crafting activity is scrapbooking and my favorite thing to bake is oatmeal cinnamon cookies with white chocolate and toffee!

My Background:

In college, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology while also earning minors in Women and Gender Studies, History, and Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Starting in high school, and all throughout college, I also worked for a local vascular surgeon in Paramus, NJ, which reaffirmed my admiration for the healthcare field and my passion for making a difference in people’s lives. After graduating, I explored various career paths but ultimately chose to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William Paterson University, inspired by my own experiences with anxiety. I love blending my knowledge of the human body and mind to help my clients better understand the mind-body connection and its importance.
